MEXICO | Economy minister predicts modest GDP growth. On 7 February, Mexico’s Economy Minister Tatiana Clouthier predicted that Mexico’s GDP would grow by up to 2.6% in 2022, slightly above the 2.27% predicted by Mexico’s central bank Banco de México (Banxico) but significantly lower than the 5% predicted by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
