WR-21-47] caught financial markets and investors off guard as they had expected President Andrés Manuel López Obrador to give former finance minister Arturo Herrera the nod. Their concern is that Rodríguez Ceja will be less likely to stand up to efforts by López Obrador to erode the autonomy of Banxico.
