Anabel Hernández, a journalist and the author of the recently published book Los Señores del Narco ('The drug lords'), the fruit of five years' research, predicts that a new phase of Mexico's drug wars is on its way — between the retail drug traffickers. This, she says, is worrying even the bosses of the big cartels, because the retail traffickers are uncontrollable; 'they are owners of their streets and that's it.'
