Peru’s energy & ministry (MEM) has released a report which reveals that investment in the mining sector in the first eight months of 2018 was up 25.2% to reach US$2.75bn. According to the MEM report, mining investments reached US$395m in August 2018, up 6.3% on the same month last year.
