* Mexico’s outgoing President Enrique Peña Nieto has delivered his sixth and final state-of-the-nation address before the federal congress, in which he highlighted the positive economic growth achieved during his six-year term. Peña Nieto said that for the first time in four presidential terms yearly economic growth was positive during each of the 22 quarters of his presidency, and that GDP growth averaged 2.5% during the first five years of his term. President-elect Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who takes office on 1 December, has promised to implement changes in government economic policy to further stimulate domestic economic activity.
