* Brazil’s central bank (BCB) has released the latest figures on monthly economic activity (IBC-Br) for June, which show a positive recovery after the index’s record slump in May. The June IBC-Br increased by 3.29% from May, beating expectations of a 3% rise. Data for second quarter GDP will be released by the country’s national statistic institute (IBGE) at the end of August.
