A wave of organised crime-related violence has hit Uruguay’s border town of Chuy and its sister Brazilian town of Chuí. The murder of four people in fortnight in a suspected dispute between rival criminal groups has raised alarm and led the Uruguayan and Brazilian governments to reinforce security in the area.
