Colombia: The national senate has given final approval to the 2018 draft state budget, meaning it now goes to President Juan Manuel Santos for promulgation. The budget is for Col$235.5trn (US$80.6bn), up 1% on the amount approved for this year. The 2018 budget is based on projected GDP growth of 2% this year and and a year-end inflation rate of 4.1%, down from 5.8% in 2016.
