* The Mexican government has announced that Agriculture Minister José Calzada Rovirosa met his US and Canadian counterparts to discuss the future of the North American Free Trade Agreement (Nafta) in the US city of Savannah, Georgia. According to an official statement, the three officials pledged to keep "open and transparent" markets in the first trilateral meeting to define the direction of the upcoming Nafta renegotiations.
