Quick on the heels of a Southern Common Market (Mercosur) meeting in Argentina, Brazil’s foreign minister, Aloysio Nunes, touched down in Paraguay to meet President Horacio Cartes on 27 March. During a two-day official visit to the capital, Asunción, Nunes met with his Paraguayan counterpart, Eladio Loizaga, to discuss how to forge closer bilateral ties between the two Mercosur countries.
