Although he is not directly involved in the legal battle being fought by former president Cristina Fernández (2007-2015), Argentina’s President Mauricio Macri could end up facing the most serious sentence. On 6 March Fernández made another, now almost routine, half-hour appearance before the court of federal judge Claudio Bonadio to give evidence in one of the four corruption cases against her.
