Some future scenarios for chavismo
As we have noted, there is no certainty over the outcome of Venezuela’s crisis, one of the most serious in the last half-century of the country’s history. It is possible, however to outline some alternative scenarios. The list of these ‘options’ is not exclusive of others, given the fact that uncertainty and political risk is genuinely high. The unforeseen can happen. But the exercise at least may illustrate some possibilities.
