CHILE | Trade surplus up. Chile recorded a trade surplus of US$1.036bn in June, up 26.49% on the same month last year, according to the country’s central bank. The positive result is due to a slight increase in exports which amounted to US$6.9bn, a 3.45% increase, while imports were US$5.87bn, denoting a marginal 0.2% decrease.
