Said Musa
Said Musa was a successful lawyer before going into politics. He has been a member of the House of Representatives for the People's United Party (PUP) since 1979 and party leader since 1996. As foreign minister he secured a celebrated recognition of Belize's territorial integrity from Guatemala in 1991, only to see Guatemala's claim reopened in 2000 while he was prime minister.
