BOLIVIA: Bolivia and Argentina's close energy cooperation

On 4 July, Bolivia ratified its commitments over future gas exports to Argentina. The agreement, tendered between presidents Evo Morales and Néstor Kirchner, benefits both countries. While Argentina presently struggles to supply its domestic market with gas, electricity and liquid fuels, Bolivia acquires a potential partner for future investment in its substantial natural resources.
