BRAZIL: Gov’t opens credit line for firms hit by US tariffs

On 22 July Brazil’s government led by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva announced a new credit line of R$18.5bn (US$3.65bn) to support businesses impacted by new US tariffs which came into effect yesterday.
