*Chile’s deputy finance minister,
Juan Pablo Rodríguez, has announced that the price of gasoline in Chile will drop by around Cl$100 (US$0.10) per litre while diesel will fall by around Cl$155 per litre, through the implementation of the state fuel price stabilisation mechanism (Mepco), a special fund that subsidises fuel prices.
