MEXICO: Teachers’ union pledges to continue strike
On 14 June Mexico’s influential teachers’ union, the Coordinadora Nacional de Trabajadores de la Educación (CNTE), announced that it would continue the national strike it began on 1 June and which has threatened to disrupt Mexico’s hosting of the Fifa World Cup.
