Macri thinking about 2027?

Could Argentina’s former right-of-centre president Mauricio Macri (2015-2019) seek a second term in presidential elections due next year? There are some early signs that he is on manoeuvres. Macri has been touring the country drumming up support for his moderate right-of-centre Propuesta Republicana (PRO) party, at a time when its nominal ally, the far-right La Libertad Avanza (LLA), led by President Javier Milei, is suffering from a decline in approval ratings, allegations of corruption, and slowing progress in the battle against inflation.
