BRAZIL: Attorney general calls for house arrest for Bolsonaro
On 23 March the office of Brazil’s attorney general (PGR) sent a document to the supreme court (STF) expressing support for a transfer to house arrest for former president Jair Bolsonaro (2019-2023), who is serving a 27-year prison sentence for plotting a coup after losing the 2022 election.
