BRAZIL: State accused of police brutality at IACHR
On 20 January Brazilian NGO Conectas Direitos Humanos and the São Paulo state public defender’s office accused the Brazilian State of police brutality at the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) for alleged acts of excessive force carried out by the São Paulo state police in recent years.
