HONDURAS: Post-election protests intensify
On 15 December Honduras’ national police (PNH) used water cannons to forcibly remove protesters from the leftist ruling Partido Libertad y Refundación (Libre) demonstrating outside the building holding the official ballots cast in the 30 November general election, demanding the release of the full vote tally and denouncing fraud.
