CHILE: Boric calls time on luxury jail for dictatorship criminals
On 3 November Chile’s President Gabriel Boric announced that the Punta Peuco prison, where some 100 inmates convicted of human rights abuses committed during the military dictatorship (1973-1990) are currently being held, had officially become a common prison.
