*Mexico’s national statistics institute (Inegi) has announced that the country’s tourism GDP rose by 0.4% in the second quarter of 2025, as compared to the previous quarter, and by 0.3% in yearly terms. This compares to a quarterly rise of 0.2% in the first quarter of the year, when the tourism GDP was up by 0.7% in yearly terms. Domestic tourism consumption was up by 0.8% in Q2 2025 in quarterly terms, while it rose 1.9% in annual terms.
