GUATEMALA: Arévalo appoints new security team
On 17 October Guatemala’s President Bernardo Arévalo appointed a new interior minister, Marco Antonio Villeda Sandoval, and two new deputy ministers in the wake of the escape of 20 Barrio 18 (M-18) gang members from the Fraijanes II maximum security prison on the outskirts of Guatemala City.
