BOLIVIA: Arce warns of ‘coup’ aimed at preventing transfer of power
On 8 October Bolivia’s President Luis Arce warned that a “coup” is underway in congress to try and prevent the 19 October presidential run-off election between conservative candidates Rodrigo Paz and former president Jorge Quiroga (2001-2002).
