COLOMBIA: Petro blasts Trump in UN farewell bid
Colombia’s President Gustavo Petro bid farewell with all guns blazing during his last speech before the United Nations General Assembly on 23 September. In the wake of Colombia’s decertification by Washington for doing too little to fight drug trafficking, Petro took one swing after another at the US administration, criticising its immigration and drug policy as well its support for Israel.
