BRAZIL: Judges begin voting on Bolsonaro conviction
On 9 September two justices from a five-member panel of Brazil’s supreme court (STF) ruled against former president Jair Bolsonaro (2019-2023) and his allies, pronouncing them guilty of plotting a coup in 2022 to help Bolsonaro stay in power after losing the election that year.
