On 22 August Brazil’s President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva attended the summit of the Amazon Cooperation Treaty Organization (OTCA) in Colombia, where member countries agreed to support Brazil’s proposed global funding initiative for tropical rainforest conservation, the ‘Tropical Forest Forever Facility’ (TFFF).
