BRAZIL | Monthly inflation rises after period of deceleration. The national statistics institute (Ibge) released its latest inflation figures on 12 August, putting monthly inflation at 0.26% in July, up from 0.24% in June. The annual inflation rate in July 2025 stood at 5.23%, down from 5.35% the previous month. The monthly inflation rate was 0.26% in May, 0.43% in April, and 0.56% in March.
