In brief: Dominican Republic and El Salvador sign customs agreement
*The customs authorities of El Salvador and the Dominican Republic have signed a mutual recognition agreement which will facilitate trade between the two countries by establishing reciprocal recognition of certifications, conformity evaluations, and security controls. A statement from the Dominican customs authority (DGA) said that the agreement will reduce both countries’ operational costs for imports and exports, prevent duplication of work, and facilitate the shipping of goods.
