VENEZUELA: Investigation into alleged torture of deportees in El Salvador
On 21 July Venezuela’s Attorney General Tarek William Saab announced an investigation into alleged torture and cruel treatment of 252 Venezuelans who were repatriated on 18 July from El Salvador, where they had been imprisoned since being deported from the US in March.
