In brief: Vehicle sales down in Mexico
*Mexico’s national statistics institute (Inegi) has announced that 116,059 light vehicles were sold in the country in June, signifying a drop of 5.9% compared with June 2024. Between January and June, total light vehicle sales were 709,341, down 0.2% year-on-year. Vehicle sales were also down by 3.3% in monthly terms, from 119,959 in May.
