*Brazil’s national association of vehicle manufacturers (Anfavea) has released the latest production figures for April, showing 228,200 units were produced. This was up 20.1% from the 190,000 vehicles produced in March and up 2.8% from the 222,100 units in April last year. According to the same Anfavea report, a total of 208,700 vehicles were sold in Brazil in April, up 6.7% in monthly terms but down 5.5% year-on-year. Monthly vehicle exports in April stood at 46,300 units, up 18.9% from March and up 69.3% from April 2024.
