Julio Berdegué Sacristán, aims to promote coordinated actions in the areas of rural development, food safety, competitiveness, productivity, health, food safety, and quality. As part of the collaboration plan derived from this agreement, the IICA will provide funds of US$1.63m to finance actions for the control and eradication of the cattle screwworm, as well as other strategic projects in the agricultural sector.
