MEXICO: Gov’t responds to US automobile tariffs
On 27 March Mexico’s Economy Minister Marcelo Ebrard said he was negotiating with officials in Washington to ensure “preferential treatment” for Mexico with regard to US tariffs on automobiles and automobile parts, unveiled by US President Donald Trump the previous day.
