REGION: US ends legal status for Cubans, Haitians, and other migrants
On 21 March the US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced it was terminating its humanitarian parole processes for Cubans, Haitians, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans (CHNV) which had been introduced under the previous US administration led by former president Joe Biden (2021-2025).
