*Mexico’s national statistics institute (Inegi) has released new figures which show that in the fourth quarter of 2024, Mexico’s labour productivity index (IGPLE), based on hours worked, fell 0.5% compared with the previous quarter but was up 0.7% compared with the same quarter in 2023, on seasonally adjusted figures.
