In brief: Paraguay’s inflation up in annual terms

*Paraguay’s central bank (BCP) has announced that monthly inflation in February stood at 0.4% bringing the annual rate to 4.3%. This compares with a monthly rate of 1.0% in January when the annual rate was 3.8%. According to the BCP, inflation was driven in February by an increase in prices of fuel (which was up 3.5% in monthly terms and 5.4% in yearly terms) and services (which was up 1.0% in monthly terms and 3.7% year-on-year).
