MEXICO | Growth in international tourism in 2024. On 11 February Mexico’s national statistics institute (Inegi) announced that the country received 45.04m international tourists in 2024, marking a 7.4% annual increase. Revenue from international tourism also rose by 5.9% to US$30.25bn. In December, 4.79m international tourists visited Mexico, representing a 4.3% year-on-year increase, while revenue totalled US$3.42bn, up 7.6%.
