BRAZIL | Monthly decline in services sector. The national statistics institute (Ibge) released its latest figures for the services sector on 15 January, which showed that the volume of services provided in Brazil decreased by 0.9% from October to November 2024. However, the monthly services volume in November was up 2.9% compared with the same month in 2023. The accumulated volume in the 12 months until November 2024 was also up 2.9% from the previous 12-month period, and the accumulated services volume for January-November 2024 was 3.2% higher compared with the same period in 2023.
