HONDURAS: Controversy over prison plans
The government led by President Xiomara Castro has “suspended” plans to build a mega-prison on one of the Islas del Cisne (Swan Islands) and is instead building one at another Caribbean coast site, at Mocorón, in Gracias a Dios department. Both are stirring up controversy.
