MEXICO | Sheinbaum announces minimum wage hike. Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum announced on 4 December that the minimum wage will rise by 12% in 2025, bringing the general minimum daily wage to M$278.80 (US$13.75) and the daily wage in the country’s northern border free zone (ZLFN) to M$419.88.
