COLOMBIA: Corruption scandal has economic consequences

On 2 December Colombia’s Finance Minister Ricardo Bonilla noted that the resignation of two deputies from the congressional public credit commission – a consequence of a corruption scandal at the government’s disaster risk management unit (UNGRD) – has prevented the government from accessing foreign credit.
