In brief: Annual inflation down in Honduras

*Honduras’ central bank (BCH) has released new inflation figures showing the monthly consumer price index (CPI) was 0.11% in November, up from -0.05% in October. This brings the year-on-year rate to 3.94%, down from 4.05% in October. According to the BCH the year-on-year figure is the lowest since March 2021. The BCH states that the increase was driven by price rises in two categories: housing, water, electricity, gas & other fuels (which was up 0.28% in monthly terms) and hotels & restaurants (+0.39%).
