MEXICO | Sheinbaum unveils water investment. Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum unveiled the national agreement for the human right to water and sustainability on 25 November. The agreement, which was signed by state governors, entrepreneurs, and other stakeholders, provides for the investment of M$9bn (US$436m) for the technification of irrigation by 2025, as well as actions to guarantee water as a national asset and a right for all Mexicans.
