URUGUAY: Orsi triumphs as FA returns to power
On 24 November Yamandú Orsi, of the left-wing opposition Frente Amplio (FA), won the second round of Uruguay’s presidential elections in a tight contest with Álvaro Delgado, of the ruling multi-colour coalition led by his centre-right Partido Nacional (PN, Blancos).
