*The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (Opec) has released its latest monthly oil market report, in which Venezuela claimed to have produced 989,000 barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil in October – up from 943,000 bpd in September. Opec’s own estimate, based on secondary sources, put Venezuela’s oil production in October at 895,000 bpd, up from 888,000 bpd in September.
