This was the response by local journalists’ network Periodistas y Comunicadores Independientes de Nicaragua (PCIN) to a new law approved by Nicaragua’s 92-member unicameral legislature, which like all state institutions is controlled by President Daniel Ortega’s Frente Sandinista de Liberación Nacional (FSLN).
