Brazil registers record tax take in September. The Receita Federal do Brasil (RFB), the tax authority tied to Brazil’s finance ministry, released its latest revenue figures on 22 October, which showed a tax take of R$203.17bn (US$35.7bn) in September. This marks an increase on the monthly revenue of R$201.62bn registered in August and from R$174.32bn in September last year. The accumulated tax take in the first nine months of 2024 totalled R$1.93trn, up 9.68% in real terms compared with the same period in 2023.
